greetings from MD

just spent a weekend in a Thor Axis with my hubby and two dogs. We had a great time (OK, have to do something about that folding bed). We are changing from a Palomino travel trailer. Now we need to go from towing with the truck to towing the truck (or the car).

Congratulations and welcome.

If you haven't already you'll want to download and read Ed's excellent crowd sourced Axis/Vegas owner's manual found here:

Welcome to the Party!
We put a mattress-topper on ours, ans it really helped a lot.
(But you have to be careful about how thick it is: they can make folding things up a bit tougher...)

Welcome to the forum! What year and model Axis did you get?

We have wonderful experiences in our Vegas. Our 25.2 has a folding bed, and the mattress topper we use keeps it from folding flat. We use a bungee cord to hold it up at about 280 degrees. Simple solution, works great.

BTW, did you find the pass through storage between the two front compartments? We've met several Vegas/Axis owners who never found that!
