Greetings from sunny England!

Good evening Thor fans. My good lady wife and I have just taken delivery of a cracking 2010 Serrano 31V.
So far I am loving it. We are yet to actually get out in her (only arrived late last week) but so far we are delighted .

I do have a few little niggles to sort so I am very hopeful that we have a few members with a few years of ownership under there belts.

Obviously being the other side of the pond, parts are slightly less common but to be honest I have always found that the internet always delivers if you know what to ask for.

Firsts issue to sort is the Actia dash that has decided LCD is too much like hard work.

Congrats on your new rig!

I'm heading over from the US to your neck of the woods for a family vacation next month. No RVing but it did cross my mind to keep my eye open for an RV dealership in my travels. Wondering if there are any specific UK built brands/models that might be different than what we have here.... different design concepts might make for an interesting look see.....
I remember a few years ago seeing some unique things in some motorhomes from Germany I think it was....

Anyway, interesting to know you are in something we have here.... but is your steering wheel on the wrong side?

Very very few parts are builder specific.
Parts is parts.

Post your maladies, we'll doctor you up.

The steering wheel is on the wrong side for the UK but we intend to move to France before the year is out so we are golden.

the first and hardest issue to deal with from here is the LCD in the instrument cluster! I cant find any data sheets, so I cant find an alternative. The only thing I can find are used, already on the way out and hundreds of dollars for a part that was undoubtedly less than $10 new.

Stay long enough to get 100 posts and we'll locate parts for you.
Maybe used, but multiples.

oh, I have no idea then about the instrument cluster.... except only to speculate that it's a Ford part...or whoever built your chassis...
I'd probably do my best to get behind it or take it out to look for numbers or markings.... and then spend some time on google

Little info on your Serano, if you don't already know it.

It's built in a Workhorse chassis and has an International diesel engine. Workhorse has been out of business for a while but you can find support and information at:

https://workhorseservice.com/#:~:tex...nd%20forklifts.

Also, register as an owner on the US Thor website, plug in your VIN and you should be able to download all manuals and other useful information, tailored to your RV.

Thor is also very good in emailing you diagrams and schematics upon request via email.

Good luck and Happy Trails.

A purpose built UK RV would have everything reversed. Street Side on the right Curbside on the left. If your RV is set up for driving on the right side of the road be extra cautious when you exit the RV since you might well be steping out into traffic.

Well done and welcome to the brave world of RV ownership on the UK. I've owned American RV's of various makes since about '04, sometimes a trial, sometimes an adventure, always a pleasure.
I've always admired the Serrano and I can only say ditto to the above comments. The Internet is your friend and most parts or accessories can be got, delivery may take time tho'.
Good luck and we may see you in France this year....

Yes, I did. My comments were aimed at both situations. Driving a unit built for the right-side driving in the UK and driving a unit built for the left-side driving anywhere else with right-side driving.
