Almost an Owner

Hello!

It's been a long time since I've posted on a message board. We are really close to pulling the trigger and purchasing a 2014.5 Challenger 37KT. I will be on the lookout for others with the same RV, to see what you like and don't like about it.

So far we don't like the fact that it only has two dining chairs, and that the leatherette is flaking badly on the captain's chairs and couch.

Oh, about us...we are a husband and wife living in Texas. We plan to go full time in 8-10 years, when we're both completely retired and the kids are out of the house. We rented an RV last month to test out how we liked it and we're hooked!

More about us in the future, but if you know anyone with the Challenger 37KT, let me know!

Our 2015 37ND came with 4 chairs. 2 were folding chairs and stored under the bed with the dinette extension.. Never used the folding chairs or extension in the five years we had the Challenger.

We searched every compartment, from front to back, top to bottom. No extra chairs.

The last 2 kids (teens) will join us from time to time, so we'll figure out a chair solution.

We did it, we brought the RV home yesterday!

We successfully installed a new couch, and need to get rid of the old one. It's currently in the galley area. We've spent the morning deep cleaning and sanitizing the RV, and we're not done yet!

We found some old paperwork in the RV with the previous owner's contact info. We took a chance and called them up. We got some great info to include why they sold (restricted mobility due to age), some maintenance updates, and the fact that it did not come with two additional dining chairs.

Now to search threads for how to post pictures correctly (sorry!) and how to make the over cab bunk ladder feel more secure, among other things.

We're happy to be a part of the Thor family, and look forward to seeing you on the road!
