Question GuyT

We have an Thor ACE 30.3 and we are currently at a KOA campground. I just noticed that both the rear leveling jacks are not completely down. Both of the front are and the automatic leveling system says we are level. Is it possible that the rear jacks don't need to be completely down if we are level? Is there anything I should do?

Is this a new ACE or an older coach? Have you used the leveling jacks before? Has the zero point calibration been done? Have you put a level on the floor and verified whether or not the coach is level? Did you "Auto Level" or use Manual level to level the coach?

Sorry, not enough info and anything right now would be a guess at best.

Welcome to the Forum!
Can you download an electronic level app on your Smartphone, and see if you are level?

This is a new coach. Yes we have used the automatic level before and haven't had any problems. We used the auto leveling. I don't have a level with me, but I will try to download an app and try it. Thanks.

Try manual leveling and see it the jacks go all the way down.

It may be that the zero point calibration need to be set.

In that case: you're good to go.
(Unless you want to put those extra feet down manually, in order to stabilize your RV...

I'm afraid to mess with it to try the manual level since we are already level. We will be leaving tomorrow to go back home. I will try it again there. Is the zero point calibration something that has to be done at the dealership?

You can set the zero point calibration. The Lippert manual for the leveling jacks should give you the procedure. You will need to find someplace level to perform the calibration. I had to perform the procedure about 3 times when we had our Challenger.

Our Accolade does not have the same leveling system so my procedures are different.

And my Equalizer System instructions are no help either...
