Hello from Arkansas...New Four Winds 24F owners

We have had tons of fun in travel trailers for about the past 9 years. Now we are empty nesters with just the 2 dogs to travel with us. The dogs don't care for long rides in the truck, and they are NO help setting up a trailer. So we traded for this great little Four Winds.

2013...Just like that but white.
I have a utility trailer I carry it on. I had a receiver welded to the top of the front rail. It hold our bike rack/bikes in front of the Spyder, and everything balances perfectly.

Welcome to the forum We just took our maiden voyage in our Chateau 24F, Everything worked, nothing fell off, had a wonderful time!
The one thing we did not like was the retractable shower door. One little touch and, Zip!, in it goes, put up a shower rod with a shower liner, need something heavier, halfway through I was wearing the shower liner and then banging my head on the ceiling I guess at 6' 3" I am a little tall for the unit. Oh well, Hope you enjoy and we can share horror stories! Our furry friend is a german shepherd, have to post the pics.

First person I have run across with another 24F. We are headed out for a weekend shake down in a couple hours. The wife is short, and I am only 5'10", so we should be good. LOL. That shower "door" is the one thing we laughed at when looking at the rig. We'll see how that works.

I'd say that "Great minds think alike."; only I'd never want to insult them like that!

And what's wrong with motorcycles anyway???

Well we took it out for a weekend shakedown run. Spent 2 nights in it. One night a bad thunderstorm. Nothing fell off and everything worked just fine. Although we didn't try out that weird shower door yet. That Chevy chassis drove and rode like a dream. We did almost 400 miles in every variety of road and condition...city, back roads, small highways in the pouring rain, and interstate with 40MPH headwinds and crosswinds. 9.2 MPG for the trip. Looking forward to our first long trip in it.
