Hello

new to RVing... Real new, don't pick it up until this weekend. Buying a Thor Vegas 25.2. Pretty excited about getting it. Will be mostly weekend trips with a few long ones now and then.

Congratulations.

Before you pick it up download and read Ed's excellent crowd sourced manual for Axis/Vegas units:

We have the same model. Bought it about a month ago. We've spent 3 nights so far as a test run. Everything is great at this point. We are leaving next week for as long as 3 months up to the Smokey Mountains then down to family in Texas, then home to Florida.
Hope you enjoy the RV.

Welcome! VEGAS 25.2 owner here also..

There is lots of good knowledge on this forum, font be hesitant to ask questions or got advice.

Love our VEGAS, just got back from a long weekend. (just wasn't long enough)

By the way, plan on spending as much time on the PDI as you need. Make the dealer show you EVERYTHING snd have them demonstrate that everything works.

Welcome and happy trails! Is your new pride and joy new, or new to you?

Do the PDI and stay a night close to the dealership so you can try all the systems, both plugged in and unplugged to water and electric.

Note reset button on radio. Solves lots of problems. Bungee bathroom door in case you brake too hard. Screws on bottom glide should be replaced with 2 inch ones for strength and length to get into stud. Have dealer back out center headliner screw and file shorter as it could be against the windshield glass causing extra stress on glass. Otherwise perfect so far. Did add solar panel to maintain battery.

Congrats and good luck. New to seen as well. On the PDI try for a week day as Friday dealers are pushed and anything major may take a day especially if they have to order a part.
