New to RVing and Thor

Took delivery on a Freedom Elite 26HE on February 15th. Parked in driveway while I figure out everything. First trip will be to local campground with full hookup, to continue the learning process. Looking forward to the first "real" trips!

We're glad that you've joined us!
I hope that the "driveway camping learning experience" is really helpful, and your first true shakedown cruise goes beautifully!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You'll find a huge pool of knowledge here. I have the same basic floorplan as your FE parked waiting for it's second season in the spring. We started the same as you, staying close the first year. Don't hesitate to ask questions if you have them.

Thanks all for the welcoming responses - I can see this forum is going to be a HUGE help. I've already posted a query about a freeze coming here next week and gotten some great advice about keeping things in order.

The really big trip will come in a few months when we re-locate to northern MI for the summer/fall season, and hopefully by then I'll have a LOT more experience driving/operating things.
