Question Help on towing a 4 down auto

I have a 2017 Thor Sesta 24. It is a MB with 188 hp diesel and says will pull 5000 lb. I have a 2016 Buick Enclave that weights 4700 lbs and I wonder if I used proper equipment I could safely pull it behind this machine. I have a tow dolly and will never use again. It's straps slip and hard to hook up chains and get off dolly. Too old to do such things anymore.
Would like to hear if I am just wishfully thinking about pulling the Buick safely. Cannot afford a jeep at this time.

Ummmmmmm...
I think that the hitch is rated for 5000 pounds; but your RV might not be up to all of that...
Get your RV weighed: as it would be set up for a trip. Subtract that amount from the GCVWR, and that'll give you an idea as to how much "room" you've got in your weight allowances.

Example: By the time we got our RV set to go: we had less than 4,000 pounds remaining... We picked up the smallest Toad we could find, and will carry it on a trailer. (2,900 pounds)

Just because you have a 5K hitch doesn't mean you can safely tow 5K.

Looking at the 2020 Siesta 24 the GVWR is 11,030 the GCWR is 15,250 which gives you a max safe towing capacity of 4,220 lbs. It would appear your Enclave is too heavy for the Siesta to tow.

With the Enclave being 4700 you would be exceeding by over 10 percent and I imagine that would put a lot of strain on the MB chassis (drive train, brakes etc...).

You can always pick up a smaller and much cheaper Toad...
