If the wiring is present in the ceiling vent area then it will be connected to an unused breaker in your power center or terminated in the vicinity of your power center.

keep in mind that the second AC unit must be on a different leg in the power center from the original AC unit.

Thanks Bruce...I have removed the bed and am behind the electric panel and can not find the yellow wire from the air conditioner. Also there is no unused circuit breaker. Only one yellow wire from the first air conditioner.

Are any of the breakers in the power center labeled as 2nd AC?

Same AC Issue

Hi Bruce, I'm working on the same 2nd AC problem everything that has been addressed so far is exactly what I'm dealing with. To answer your last question, no I do not have a breaker listed as 2nd ac unit. I looked in the automatic transfer switch box and could not find the 3 way switch everyone says I need, it is no where to be found. I would appreciate any help or advice I can get. Thanks
