Hi, and welcome. looks like you have a cozy ride, congratulations. first one? what are you pulling it with? looks cold in Michigan at this time, when and where is your first adventure?
we camped and hiked on Isle Royal, that was a great adventure, although well over 50% of the people on the boat ride back got very sea sick, happy to say we didn't. love the Uper!

happy trails

galOnTheGo,

Thanks! We have been camping since the late 70's starting in tents. This is our 4th trailer in 6 years. Got a great deal and just the right size for my wife and I. The set up fits us perfectly.

We will head out westward (2nd time) in 2022 first to the Badlands, then on to the Tetons. Probably take several weeks.

Bob

great for you! tenting was / is fun, Rv'ing is even better at this point in our lives. if you are into boondocking, there is a 3 mile dirt road just outside the Badlands entrance, just up side of Wall Drug. I highly recommend checking that out. It is one of the most memorable places for me. the road runs along the rim of the canyon and sitting there outside your RV watching the sun set over the Badlands, watching the birds fly around, sipping on whatever it is you like to drink, is as good as it gets for me. not saying it is the best, or better than anything else in this big beautiful USA we call home, it is just up there with the best. and, be sure to check out the town of Wall Drug. a fun place to visit.

again, happy trails!

We did this trip in 2019 and stayed at Badlands KOA. Planning on going there again and will check out that road. Here's a pic we got on the south end one evening. Wall drug was a trip! Loved it.

Nice travel trailer with a very modern looking interior.

We are switching from a Class A to a travel trailer and just ordered a Coachmen Freedom Express 246RKS. My wife's must haves were a couch AND a dinette.

Not that I get to use the couch though, that is exclusively for her and our dog. I get the dinette, that shows where I am at in the pecking order.

Welcome to Thor Forums. I think that you will like it. Very down-to-earth. Lots of smart, wise, knowledgeable owners that have experience and skill to share. Check out the titles of the "threads"; I usually skip through 95% of them, as they are not relevant. But, you have different interests. And most of all, have fun and keep it light. We're all here because we're not all there!
