I'm Elaine and will be retiring in a couple more years. I thought I would get a jump on the forums early so I can learn. I'm planning on purchasing the Vegas 25.2. How does everyone like theirs. Is it easy to go shopping a break camp? How about boondocking? I will be a full timer.
We have had our 25.2 for around 5 months, driven a little over 6,000 miles. I have been very impressed with the overall quality and performance.
Be sure to download Ed's manual and study before your orientation. This way you will not be so overwhelmed with your walk through.
We do not use the overhead bed so I removed the mattresses and use the area for towels, extra sheets, coats, lots of room for flat stuff.
Welcome and good luck
Welcome to the forum. We have had our Vegas 25.2 for a little over a year and couldn't be more happy with it. Perfect size for the two of us and the dog. Easy to drive and the maneuverability is great only 26 ft. long allows you to put it in almost anywhere with ease. The slide out bedroom with queen bed is very cozy. The only negative may be that because of the rear slide there is no ladder to access the roof of the 25.2. Other than that it's a perfect fit. Good luck and be sure to download Ed's manual it's a gem and a must have. Stay safe.

Hello. We have a 2016 24.1 Axis and have around 7500 miles on it so far. I think you get a lot for the money with the Axis/Vegas but there are a few quality issues which I now believe is to be expected. I still don't mentally accept these issues however... A word of advice, no matter which coach you buy.... Much discussion on this subject in this forum- front end alignment and weigh the coach so you can get the proper tire pressures for ride quality. Most of us have also added items to the suspension that will cost you more $$$ for a better ride. Another bit of advice is that you should not get suckered into some extras like paint protection and Tryon wheel protectors or whatever they are called. Extended warranty is also up for discussion. Keep asking questions and good travels.
We bought a 2016 Vegas 25.2 in April and have already added 4000 miles to the odometer. The prior owner took very good care of the unit and we're extremely happy with our purchase. We down sized from a 38 foot Tiffin Allegro Bay and find that the Vegas seems almost as roomy.
No matter what brand you buy, if you purchase a brand new unit, you're going to have startup problems. And there's always the chance of getting a lemon. But one of the best protections you can have is the one you've already taken, joining this forum group. Lots of knowledge and a willingness to help is available here.
