Smile New to Motorhome

Hello,
My Wife (Helen) and I are the new owners of a 2006 Four wind Hurricane 31D.
We have owned a few pull behind campers before but never a motorhome.
We live in Ontario Canada and are planning to travel Canada and once the borders open to venture to the USA. Have a few modifications/improvements to do this winter ready for spring. Masood

I need help with the bracket for the door strut. The wind caught the door and the bottom screws came out of the door.
The 2 top screws go into the metal trim and seem to be secure, however, the 2 bottom screws go into the outer shell of the hollow door, and not much to screw onto. I was thinking of using slightly bigger screws but that seemed to be a temporary measure. There is also a gap between the bracket and the door at the bottom which I do not think is helping.

Welcome. Absolutely gorgeous areas to visit in Canada. We want to head back as soon as restrictions are lifted. Enjoy the journey!
