Mystery Switch

We have a 2013 Tuscany 45XT. There is a switch just below the closet on the back wall. It's mounted horizontally and includes a red off/on light. What is it? Thought it might be a heater for the engine my wife is sure it has something to do with the rear toilet, mostly because it's fairly close. HELP.

Do you a have extender Wingard, or an after market antenna installed , go be the on and off switch for that.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion, seems unlikely though. All my entertainment stuff is at the front of the coach in an overhead bin

That is your engine block heater switch

Unless it was replaced, it is a pilot lit rocker and only works on shore power

How long have you had the Tuscany?

It is also controlled via the EMS, so may or may not be illuminated

I did notice you mentioned it was

Your amp draw on the panel will show about 9 amps if the element is burned out

Ment to say if the element isn't burned out. Obviously hopefully no current draw if it is burned out

I'm certain you are correct. This was my suspicion. I noticed yesterday the rear bathroom floor located above the engine was warm. So I'm guessing it's working correctly. I'll turn it off till needed. Thanks!
