Hello from Berkeley Lake, GA

My wife and I and four small dogs are on third day of our initial "shake down/familiarization" trip.
So far so good but no hot water from Girard GSHW-2 tankless water heater.
Chasing that this AM.
Our first RV and it is a Quantum KM24 on Mercedes Sprinter chassis.

Congratulations and welcome.

I don't have the tankless water heater but can provide some recommendations I've "heard" about them from the forums here:
  • Is it on?--simple question "is it plugged in"
  • Are you getting enough water flow/pressure (the consensus is that they need enough flow through them to detect that and turn on)
  • Once on you adjust the hot water flow rate to get the temp you want--not by mixing in cold water
Thats about all I got...

No sir, shore power and water.
Turned out to be a water pressure problem.
Instant hot water needs a certain pressure to activate.
A call to Thor advised to open two hot faucets.
Did so and hot water.
Why that helps I do not know but it did.
Thanks!

yes, we have a small 'instant' heater at home, and it's finicky too... needs a certain water 'flow' past the sensor in order to power on the heating element.
