Hi from Maryland!

We just bought a 2015 Freedom Elite 22e. Flew down to Florida on a one way ticket with my wife, looked at a bunch of RVs, picked out this one and drove it home. Had it winterized in Myrtle Beach (while visiting parents) on the way home. Good thing since it was in the 20’s when we arrived home. Have put it away for the Winter and can’t wait for Spring. I’m enjoying reading the items in the forums. Thanks for the add.

I'll bet that you can't wait for Spring!
In the meantime: there's lots of shopping to do!

So how did you like your brief encounter with a 22E. I have just bought a brand new 2020 Thor 22E called a Daybreak 22 GOC from Gander Outdoors in Minnesota. I pick it up next Monday and then drive it 1500 miles to Northern Alberta Canada. Did you get the Chevy powered one or the Ford? We had the Chev in our previous Thor 23U, it was a great chassis and climbed like a goat on 18 to 20 percent grades and just hummed on freeways. What did you think of Thor's quality control? My new RV has a production date of late November 2019 so we will see if Thor's quality control improved or got worse since 2014. It is still very much winter here. so I will PDI it, and then winterize it until April.

Really love the new lighter interior in the Daybreak line vs the dark cherry in the Freedom Elite.

Rocky

Hi Rocky 49. Say let us know how the highways are coming home. We are leaving Grande Prairie March 1 for Arizona via Montana with our Gemini 23tw. Where are you from?
