Welcome to the forum. We also just bought a 2022 Thor Miramar 37.1. It is a great coach with much more room both inside and outside. Take it out on a couple of short trips to test out everything. So far we have gone on one 2 night local trip and have another one set for the end of this month. We started doing some upgrades. I installed the Flow-Rite battery hydration system to the two 6 volt golf cart batteries as well as a screen door pull door handle. Enjoy the new ride and comfort.

Paul

Hey Paul

When you have a chance, please send me a photo of the screen pull handle, I would like to see it.

Thanks, Jeff & Sharon

Hi Jeff and Sharon

I just sent you a pm. I bought the screen door handle from Amazon. It is the Colibrox Screen Door Push Bar for Motor Homes for $22.10.

Paul

Tons of storage space equals tons of junk...pack lightly for your first few trips and make notes of what you wish you had brought along. Eventually you will have most everything you need, a few things you may need...and a ton of things left behind that you don't need. Folks tend to load out everything they own, as if they were full-timing, and never use half of it.

Hello, we have a 2020 Miramar 37.1 too - one of the first things we did was to by a box of Dynmax - sound dampener and 3/4" heat shield (installed my self with a friend) for the dog box - made a huge difference in being able to hear each other in the cab during travel. Bought a dash cover last year, really helps with glare during travel. We also added with our purchase a larger inverter, controller, 4 matching batteries and a large solar package as well as two Sanicon macerators (one for each set of tanks).

Here is a good array of photos on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1672...01590903925079
do you follow Thor Miramar/Challenger Owners (good group) - Search "Dynamat" - we bought the roller tool to help apply (helps to make sure layers are firmly attached). Apply the 3/4" heat shield on top of the applied Dynamat (we used the whole box - i think it was three layers) - don't try to put heat shield down first - weight of Dynamat will pull the shield away from the box! Pull all of the old heat shield off before applying sound dampener.
