Hello from Fresno CA!

We are looking for a Class C to live in full time that we can haul a three horse sized stock trailer with two horses inside. The weight of the loaded stock trailer is about 6,000 lbs. We've looked at the Thor motor homes and also like the Forrester River Sunseeker and almost identical Forrester River Forrester. There is such a variance in price. I'm wondering if the Forrester would be more suitable for full time living. Steep learning curve! Any suggestions, feedback appreciated.

Before deciding to buy the Vegas 24.1, we had decided on the Forester. We liked the twin bed option above the cab. We also liked the quality of the cherry cabinetry and the fit and finish. In fact, the dealer we went to (where we bought the Thor Vegas) we had gone to checking to see if they carried Foresters (they didn't).

They showed us several other Class Cs but we didn't see anything that compared to the Forester. As we were getting ready to leave, the salesman asked if we were interested in a Class A. I told him I didn't want to drive a bus and he said, "Let me show you a 26 footer you might like." The rest is history.

Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like we should be considering a Class A.

For full time I would say a class A. A lot more room

Welcome to the forum from the Buckeye State! Go with the RV layout that best fits your needs. Then the rest is mods and upgrades. Good luck in your search.

Welcome to the forum.... We got a class A motorhome and like it very much. We had a 32 foot Southwind back in 2000 and traded it in for a 42 foot Weekend Warrior toy hauler. We just got rid of that and got the 29 foot motorhome class A again. We did not care for CW or RV country in Fresno so we went more north. Just realize they are trying to sell their product so make sure you do your research.
