Hello I'm new

I have 40 years tent camping experience and just bought a 2018 thor freedom traveler A30 3 months ago and I taken it on 7 excursions I'm loving it. We are off road lovers (atv,s) and bike rallys I have experienced events all over the the gulf coast and up to Tennessee all in a tent or open air now I'm ready to experience all again plus some new in my rv.
I have had at least 1 issue on every trip so far and was able to solve with out the help of thor customer service who still to this date has not responded to my problems but didn't need them because at every campground there is many good people that have been able to help and I give a big thanks to you guys who always have time to help a fellow camper. I do have still a few questions I cant answer using my incomplete manual. 1) It says lubricate all moving parts every month but doesnt give what type of lubes and how to apply. 2) how to watch tv while driving with out using generator. When I dont need a/c I hate driving around wit generator running just so grandkids can watch tv

Welcome to our little corner of things...
The A/C units burn up a lot of power. I think that you'd have to upgrade your inverter, your battery system, and rewire some of the circuit breakers; before you could make this happen (if at all! )
Try running the cab's A/C unit full-bore, and see if that helps. You could always hang a curtain, to separate it from the rest of the rig, and keep the cold air up front with you.
Here's what we did:

2 options here... a 12v TV - though these are often on smaller side, or a small inverter - even a portable one that plugs into cig lighter would power an LCD TV.
