We just picked up our 2018 Thor Windsport 29m at the end of March.
Our first shakedown trip will the the first weekend in May heading up to Lake Geneva in Wisconsin.
We really wanted to put in though its' paces for our big trim this summer to the Smokey Mountains.
We traded in a 2018 Rockwood Mini-Lite 1905 and they gave us an amazing trade in on that.
We had to up our game for storage (can't store it at my house due to HOA rules. We used to keep the trailer in a grassy field about twenty miles away that changed $30, the new one has digital gated locks and asphalt and it is about a $100 more per night. Worth the extra money for use, as I know I'd get that rig stuck if the field was wet.
Ordered some baggage locks from RVLocks, but they didn't have the main door part, so I'll have to wait a couple weeks. The nice lady i talked to said to call them when thy do come in and they should be able to key them alike .
The wife said we were crazy to go from a 19ft travel trailer to a 30ft class A.
She's probably right, but I figured that we are saving several steps and probably a lot of money doing it this way.
