Hi from Renton, WA - new Thor Sequence 20L owner
Hi all,
Just purchased a new Thor Sequence 20L in Charcoal, the standard, non-lithium model. Discovering a few things after my first shakedown overnight cruise this weekend, most entertainingly the tiny sewer hose garage but I think I've figured out a solution that'll fit. If not, I guess I'll strap on a hose carrier somewhere else on the coach ;-)
I'm a newbie RVer, having previously only done very short term class C rentals. Chose a class B as mostly it's just me and my dog, and want to be able to keep the rig at home and ready to go most of the time for short jaunts.
Looking forward to poking around and discovering some more.
Thanks all and happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to the forum. I did install a sewer hose holder under my 2018 Thor Siesta 24SS with a couple of large metal hose clamps.

Hello! I just bought my 2021 Sequence 20L and have yet to come up with a sewer hose storage solution. What were Thor engineers thinking when they came up with the "storage" area??? I was hoping you could share what you did.
Also - did you get a white cylinder shaped water filter? I did (brand new in packaging) and I have no idea where it goes. Even the dealer was scratching his head....

Hi! Well, I tried all sorts of commercial hoses with the bayonet on one end and the bayonet mount on the other. But there’s no way to get the bayonet mount in the storage compartment. So I took one 10-ft half of my Silverback hose kit and cut off the bayonet mount end, and kept shortening the hose until it fit in the compartment fully collapsed. It’s fine for a dump hose and in an emergency I have a big rubber gasket I can put in a park sewer port but as I’m only doing short trips for now I rely on the tanks and dump on the way home. Or I could always dump at the park if available.
Just to recap, so what I’m left with is a bayonet on one end (that can attach to the van) and bare hose on the other end, probably about 8 ft long fully stretched out. I think 10ft of a less-premium hose with a bayonet would fit too. The Silverback has a bit heavier wire in the hose so doesn’t compress down as much.
Hope this helps!

Oh and I haven’t seen a water filter like you describe! Sorry.

Thanks for the reply! I've got my salesperson working on an under carriage solution for the hose, and contacting Thor about the water filter. If I get something figured out I will share.

I believe the water filter goes in the opening where your feet would be sleeping on the drivers side bed.

That side doesn't lift open............ Not on the 20L anyways.
