Hello from Michigan
Hi everybody!

I'm a retired guy, my wife and I are wintering in our Thor A.C.E. 27.2

We are camping in Eastern Alabama right now, will be leaving here this Friday heading to central Florida for a couple of weeks, if we like it there we might stay longer. If, and when the "itch" to hit the road seeking out new places, off we'll go. Do not plan on returning to MI till spring, much to the chagrin of the children and grandkids.

Welcome to the forum!

It can be dangerous coming from the frozen northland to Florida in the winter. Lots of folks visit Florida in the winter then decide to make it their permanent residence. (No state income tax is a plus, distance to grandchildren is often a minus.) You've been warned!

I’m jealous. It was 13 degrees when we got up today in northern Idaho—much colder than normal for this time of year.

Welcome to the forum! Mr. Sunshine is correct. I got sand in my shoes over 40 years ago and have NEVER thought about moving back to Virginia.
