Smile Hi,

Hi, I’m from Montreal. I am looking to buy a thor ACE 29.3.
I want to carry my goldwing in the back on a blueox lift and flat tow my 2018 4x4 F150. I want my toys with me.
So I need to calculate the capacity of the frame to support the added weight of the goldwing.
To do so, there is one measurement I need. It is the actual rear axle weight of the RV.
I understand that it all depends of the stuff we put in the Rv, but it would be a good starting point. (This weight without anything in the back of the RV)

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
Why not put the Wing in the bed of your truck?

F150 bed

It is my second option if the RV cannot hold my bike.
I would prefer keep my truck bed for extra stuff, like kayaks, fire wood, etc...

Welcome to the forum. If you contact Thor customer service they might be able to supply that information. They gave me the shipped factory weight of my coach. Good luck.

I think you are very unlikely to meet the GAWR with the Goldwing. The OCCC which is roughly the difference between curb weight and GVWR is about 1,500 lbs. Fuel, driver, passengers and gear will take about 1,000 lbs, leaving 500 lbs distributed between the two ends.

The Goldwing and the carrier weighs about 900 lbs.

Carrying your Goldwing in the bed of your truck is your best option.
