Hi - a/c question

We are taking our second big trip in our hurricane 34j - I can't seem to make the roof a/c run while driving. Generator turns on fine, but a/c units don't run once I get unplugged from the 50 amp service. I have thought that the generator would allow at least one of the roof units to run. Am I just not understanding how to make it work, or anything else? Thanks for your help.

Does anything run when on generator, or just not the A/C? If nothing runs check for a breaker on the generator itself.

We have a Windsport 34J and both units run when going down the road with generator in operation.

Generator running - tv works but not as outlets. You might be on the right track

Your TV is probably running off the inverter, which is on the batteries. Most likely the breaker at the generator itself.
