Lizzard gearing up to hit the road

Hi y'all. Newbie here.

Just purchased a used 2018 Windsport 31Z and getting ready for life on the road. This is something I have wanted to do for a very long time, and it's finally going to happen. The pups and I are doing a little every day to prepare, any pointers are totally welcome!!

Happy New Year!

Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on taking the first step!
Have you got your first trip planned-out yet?
How about some pics of your RV, and the pups?

Welcome, The best pointer I can give you is use your RV for a couple of days before you head out on your trip(s). That way you can fix any little problems before hand.

Also read this forum regularly.... its a weath of information. Use the search function and ask question if you cant find an answer.

And have Fun!

Thank you all for responding.

1st leg of the road trip will be seeing some old friends in VA, then on to NC, eventually hitting all states..

Mother and son team of mutts I found at work a few years back, pointy ears is mom, Missy, and the shaggy white one is her son, who was only a few months old when found, Augie.

I would suggest reading through the manuals, if they gave them, on your RV systems.
Familiarize yourself, and bring the tools needed, to manual over-ride the hydraulic level system, if you have that.
Otherwise, like they said, trying it out at home...
Maybe some outdoor chairs too...
Have fun!

Manuals? I have a flipping bag FULL of them, some "light" reading material. Along with a gross of keys that need to be tagged. LOL
