Looking into a Used Thor Class C

Hello from snowy beautiful Idaho!

My husband and I have been using his work panel van for many years to travel & camp in. We have gone coast to coast, explored western British Columbia & Vancouver Island, and a 6 week road trip to Alaska last year! It has worked out great, but now that we are both about 60, we are ready for something we can stand up in with a little more space!

We are looking into a used Thor, so I will post questions on the forum!

Thank you in advance for any guidance, suggestions & help....

Welcome to our campsite.
Now that you're taking "the next step": asking questions, should be your focus...
Happy shopping!

Cool. Should be lots more comfortable than a work van! Lots of good help here. You’ll get folks telling you not to buy a Thor because they don’t like theirs but don’t let them discourage you. As with any used vehicle check it out carefully paying special attention to water damage and the state of caulking or sealing on the roof and windows. RVs leak unless they are inspected and addressed at least a couple times a year. Also they are built light and to a price point so check everything and expect some ongoing maintenance and repair. But the systems are pretty basic and it’s not very difficult to stay ahead of it. Enjoy the shopping and the camping.
