Miramar 34.2

My wife and I just purchased a 2015 Miramar 34.2. We are both RV noobies, but have had travel trailers before. We are very excited and are looking forward to using it for the first time this weekend.

Welcome to the world of motor coaching. May your maiden voyage (a.k.a. shake down cruise) be enjoyable and uneventful (for RV related issues).

Yes, I am hoping it will be mostly uneventful. I am aware however that problems are bound to happen. I just hope I am able to fix them, and they remain minor.

34.2

Hope you enjoy the Miramar. My wife and I purchased a new Miramar 34.2 in Feb. We have taken it on four camping trips.

We have had a couple of issues, but the dealer took care of them. The step switch shorted and locked the steps out. Luckily were at the dealership. Still trying to work through the in and outs of the rig.

It would be wise to read ALL that you can on your 34.2.
Read any and all manuals that were given to you by your dealer. Hopefully they are specific to the equipment that is on your Miramar.
Any other manuals should be avail available on the web.

My learning experience continues on my 2014 Thor Miramar 34.2.
Why just this weekend I learned that the Onan generator will NOT RUN (quit running) with less than 1/4 fuel in the tank......

Happy trails.

Just Moved Up - Miramar

We had an ACE and enjoyed it for a year, but began thinking about some things we might like in a slightly larger unit. Sooooo, we started "casually" browsing at a couple of dealers thinking we would get some ideas for next year and wonder of wonders discovered that we could trade our ACE for just a few thousand below what we paid for it and buy a Beautiful brand new 2015 Miramar for a payment not much higher than we already had.
It's actually a 2014 floor plan 32.1, but it's a 2015. Gorgeous. Just got it last week and actually has the same basic floor plan as the ACE we had, but there is more room for the driver which being 6'4" I really needed (always test the driver position with the slides in by the way), and much more exterior storage and other things. 34 feet long instead of 30 feet. Yay. Love RVING.
