Moved up from a tent to a Chateau 24C

Hello! My wife and I bought our first RV this year, and we were able to take it to the mountains for the Independence Day holiday this year! We learned a lot on the first trip and we are looking forward to many more, and seeing you all on the road!

Considering this exact RV, you will have to keep me updated on how you like it.
Thanks...and best of luck!

Thank you! So far, so good. It's just the wife and me, no pets, but I think a person could travel with a couple dogs just fine in this. It is very easy to drive...I took it to a smallish lake that had a tight campground and I got around the camp and the boat launch just fine. It would be a little tight for any length of time with 4 people, but not so uncomfortable that you'd lose friends. When we're camping we're outside most of the time anyways, and for sleeping an extra couple, I wouldn't hesitate. The V10 has more than enough power for this little RV and I'm very happy with it! We bought new from a local dealer's show and I feel like I got a decent deal on it. Best of luck in your search, and enjoy what you get!

We have the Chateau 33SW and we love it. After dealing with minor quality control issues we have had no problems. Love how it handles and we hauled our 24' car hauler on our last trip and couldn't even feel that it was behind us on very windy highways.

Thor has great customer service, at least that is what we experienced. A bit frustrating on some of the issues we had but they provided great support. I think overall in the motorhome industry there is not much quality control from brand to brand so they all have some issues.

Happy motorhoming... maybe we'll see you on the road sometime.

Congrats we have a 23 U. And its perfect for me and my wife. plus it was the only thing that could fit on my property without bottoming out while backing in.
