Trike in the Class C Outlaw

Hello all!
My husband and I are embarking on our next adventure of RVing. We have been looking extensively at the Thor Outlaw 29h but are concerned about our Harley Davidson tri-glide fitting in the garage area. Unfortunately there isn't any place local that has one on sight for us to try. Our Trike is 106 inches so we know we are cutting it pretty close.
We are looking for the opinion of others that may have been in this situation.
If it's not going to fit, we need to start looking at other options.
Thank you!
Dianne

I have a ultra limited I put in mine. It's close but it fits. The problem you'll have is weight. I weighed mine with Just the ultra (920 lbs). And a spare in the garage and the rear axle was forty lbs over max axle weight! Still ok with total gross, so I installed sumo helper springs in the rear.

Don't have a Thor Outlaw, but we went from an Ultra to a Trike last year. If my memory serves me the TG was an inch or two longer than my Ultra and weighed right at 300 pounds more.

If no one responds here try asking the same combination question on the Trike forum. Maybe someone on there has a Outlaw but is not on this forum. Good luck.

How did your Tri-Glide end up fitting?
We in the midst of buying an Outlaw 29H, and plan to stuff our
Can Am Spyder RT Limited into it...
(105" OAL...)
How did your bike do climbing up the ramp?

29 outlaw

i would probably look at upgrading the tire to higher load capacity. and would probably back the trike in, i would want to get most of the weight to the front

The Trike is definitely loading "tail-first". It'll make it easier to deal with the breakover angle at the top of the ramp.
Upgrading the tires... Thanks! I will definitely look into that.
I could be wrong about this, but I think that the rig will come with 8-ply tires.
What's the next step up: 10-ply?

By the way: it's a reverse trike:

10th Anniversary 01.jpg
I figure to put the tail right at the rear door. That'll give me enough room to get the front wheels in and secure!

The 29H was under consideration for us and my triglide, but the weight restrictions of the 29H has me reconsider...we went with the 37LS class A instead... The triglide would fit, but I'd have to make sure pretty much nothing else was in the back with it on stock suspension..

Thanks for the observation!
What else in the rear suspension would you upgrade; besides the tires?

Unfortunately I am not one to say... I had a lengthy conversation with a Thor factory rep at the last Tampa RV show while in the midst of making my commitment to the 29H. The triglide would fit once the sofas were folded up, but a triglide with a full tank of gas is 1300...not much left with a 1500 payload. The rep sais it could be increased with suspension modifications - and that went beyond tires... not real sure of the specific items...

My bike hits the scales at 1,100 pounds... I guess that I've got just a little bit more wiggle-room.
