Bought today a 2015 Axis 24.1. Have not received delivery yet. First time RV'ers. We are excited but so uneducated. Look forward to learning from you!

Congratulations; I hope you have many happy miles with your Axis.

Search around for "Predelivery checklist" and take it to the dealer with you. Make them go through everything and show you everything working (not just tell you about it--make them actually turn on stuff, fill the water tank, etc.).

My hot and cold water supplies are reversed, not the end of the world, but I missed that. Make sure seats move the way they should. Check every inch of decals. Fill the water tank first, turn on water pump and water heater, and look for leaks while checking the rest of the coach. And don't sign anything until you are satisfied! But overall, I am happy to have it. The H/C water reversal is the only real issue I have. We christened ours with a trip to Maine and Vermont and really enjoyed ourselves. Do a camp drive when you bring it home. If the dealer is far away than find a local rv park and cam there the first night.

Great suggestions here. I would add, schedule your inspection and orientation early in the day.
You're smart to check every outside door, inside drawer, window and shade, besides all the electrical, plumbing and mechanical.
I asked that they check the tires. Later, I checked and both fronts 10# low. I think they ran out of time.
Since it's all new to you, ask if you can record the entire session. You'll appreciate that later. Hmmm, what did he say about...
