New 2017 Outlaw 29H in AZ

Howdy all. Picking up my new 2017 Outlaw 29H class c from Oklahoma next week, pretty excited. This will be my first motorhome, only trailers and cabovers previously. Never thought I spend this much on an RV but I think it will change my adventuring life. Really looking forward to my summer Alaska/Canada/East cost 4 month trip this summer with my adventure bike in it's garage!

Ha that looks like an identical twin RV to mine you got there. Is it a 17 and how long have you had it?

Ah well, had issues with the OK dealer and ended up buying a 2018 29H locally in AZ. Happy with the upgrades on the 2018 model and I guess they aren't going to make the 29H any more, just the 29J model.

I'd say that "Great minds think alike."; but I'd never want to insult you like that!
Mine is actually a 2018. We picked it up on September 1st.

And I DO admire your fine taste in Motorhomes... and off-road bikes!

Thor's website still shows the "H"...

...With the addition of the "J" model.

Just looked at the j model specs. Wow I love it but I don't think I want to go through al the twenty something fixes again that I had to do on my 29h.

I agree... Once you get the kinks ironed out: keep it until about four days after you quit breathing!

All the dealers I talked to said they aren't going to make the H model any more. I found a dealer close to where they make them in Indiana that had a crapload of the J's and not one H, they were one of the dealers that said no more H's. The plance I found the 2018 H in AZ said it was one of the last.

The 29J is about $6k more, doesn't have the sofas in garage, only one side smaller (not all the way to ceiling) overhead cabinets in the garage, garage is smaller only about 8' deep instead of 9'. I looked at one and determined the layout and versatility wasn't for me. Garage size and the couches back there with ability to use a bed(s) worked better.

I've been discussing this with our local Dealership, and a very important issue popped up:

The garage capacity of the "J" has been reduced to just 1,000 pounds.
