New 2018 outlaw 29h

Hello. I'm Dave. We just picked up our new 2018 outlaw 29h. First time owners. Have a few items noted during our pdi and waiting for factory to approve work but still really excited about our purchase. Wanted the "j" model but we needed the larger garage space. Still want to add the drop down bed but first need to just enjoy it. Looking forward to getting information from here and reading others' stories.

Nice, I like it. What’s in the garage? Bikes, quads, snowmobiles?

Hi. thanks. Harley or sportsman quad and mountain bikes for when we get to where we want to be. looking forward to better weather to use this thing. Gotta come up with a system to rest Harley front tire against while tied down. thinking about that bolt it on system so I don't have to drill into the floor of this thing.

Welcome to "Outlaw Ridge"!

We need to know what you'll be carrying in the garage...
And we LOVE pictures!

just to give you an idea. This is my setup for my HD Ultra Limited. I had this Wheeldock bolted to the floor in my toyhauler trailer. In order to do it in the Outlaw, I would had to drop the fuel tank to install the nut inserts. So I removed the end caps, inserted pipes that attach to the floor tie downs and welded nuts for the set screws.

Love the wheeldock because I can drive into it, hit the lever and climb off of it. At 69 years old and traveling alone, everything helps!

With my Spyder: I'm limited to using straps through the wheels...

But at least mine won't ever fall over...

With all of these new Outlaws showing up: we'll soon be a rival to both the James, and Dalton Gangs!

Our next upgrade path is to a toy hauler... we have been looking at Outlaws. We like the 37RB floorplan (we are full timers and need a real bedroom!) and the 38RE which Thor has stopped building.

I'd say that "Great minds think alike"; but I'd never want to insult you like that!
We've been looking at the RB with a lot of interest as well...

Maybe we can work out a "Group Purchase"?

Two freaked out totally first the RV started rolling although we had spent many “quality hours” with them in the RV when it was parked at the house. Where do they sleep? Every dog is different. But I sure would appreciate any comments you might have.

We have 3 medium sized dogs with us and we are full timers. They have all become great road warriors. Two of them like the "doggy window" next to the passenger side seat, they lay at mom's feet and watch the world go by. One prefers mom's lap, but he is comfortable just about anywhere. When we are stopped, they all prefer to sleep on the bed but when we get into bed they generally hop off and either find a kitchen bench seat or the love seat. Of course, two of them are going on 10 years old and the other just turned 1... and she is turning out to be the biggest one (at 55 pounds.)

It seems that all it takes are a few trips and they adjust well to life on the road.

We have a 70 lb. boxer and a 20 lb. mini schnauzer, they travel well. We utilize the garage area with the jack knife sofa and a memory foam mattress as our sleeping area...the dogs sleep up front in their doggie beds. We store them in the overhead when not in use. During the day, they utilize the garage and patio area as their space...gets a little tight, but bearable, 3 large dogs might be a challenge...
