Sorry to hear of your problems with the new Miramar 35.3. Well, not so different from my new 34.2 2017 Miramar, although I did not have any glass break! Handling is indeed the big issue. Crosswinds are killers, and going to a heavy duty shock in the front is the first step. I used Bilstein shocks and it made quite an improvement. I am now adding the Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer which I hope will be the last needed improvement.

Of course, the big question is: why doesn't this stuff come as standard equipment??

Well, just asking.

Jim

minor disappointments

just picked up our new 35.3 miramar - why the unnecessary re-switching of power when changing from shore power to gen set power - gps has yet to find a satellite - must be sun spots ! on demand water heater takes almost a minute for hot water to reach the second bathroom - auto thermostat control has a mind of its own - prefers to be prompted to start i/o relying on pre-set temperature - so far after 100 miles that's it ! pretty happy so far.. thanks for any help david / cathy - ocean breeze, fl

Our gps didn't work either, the dealer swapped it out and it works fine now. Bad unit straight from the factory.

Mine didn’t work either but I did a software update on line and it has worked fine ever since. I don’t care for it as much as my old Garmin 770 though so I typically don’t use it.

Welcome to the family! Had a 2016 Vegas that ate 3 windshields in less than 2 years. Thor paid for 1st, gave use the finger on 2 and 3 replacement. Then we decided to buy bigger one!

Well at least your motor didn't blow!! 2000 miles and our 2020 35m Motor blew. took little over 2 months to get new on installed. We still have a huge list of stuff to get fixed once this bug dries up. I swear they QA person is drunk or stoned! ha

Did you find out what caused it to blow?

Oil flow issue, main cam and another warped and scorched. Loss of oil flow. Nothing ever lite up on panel, just heard metal on metal, turn it off and it never ran again. We were only going 25 mph hour leaving KOA. Ford had dealership in PA tear it all the way down and send pics, 5 days later new motor showed up.

Now I gotta find out who lives in the wall in the living room slide, cause when we are driving, he starts banging on the wall!!

Hi
All I have done is the Steering stabilizer (Return to center - Roadmaster) and Sumo Springs . The Sumos definitely reduced sway and smoothed out the ride. Expansion joints and Road joints feel less jarring. 18 wheelers coming up on you dont blow as hard (But you still get some sway) just reduced compared to Stock. Best $1000 i spent
Regards
