New ACE 30.2 owner

Traded the 24ft Heartland Wilderness pull-behind in for a new Thor ACE. Checked all the "dreaded" issues from previous owner input on the forum during our PDI walk-thru. Yep, been stalking this forum for a bit now...punch list was pretty short only big item was ordering a new bedroom cabinet door that is warped and won't shut tight. No leaks anywhere I could detect, yep I ran the shower for 10 min to prove that but I'll see once it gets some real use. Annoying high pitch whistle from the passenger side window area someplace while doing 45MPH+...I'll need some road time to figure that out. Short "shake-down" cruise coming up this weekend will reveal more I'm sure.

New to ACE and this forum. But we also had a whistle sound once driving over 50mph. We had Thor send us a new "honeycomb" grill and the whistle is gone! So much better to drive without that.

That whistle was your Elephant Repellent...
Think about it: did you ever even see an elephant; while riding around in your rig?

Since my post and the subsequent front whistle I went to customcargrills.com and bought a honeycomb expanded metal sheet, gloss black and zip tied it behind the original grill. Completely unnoticeable and at. $100 well worth being invisible to elephants.
