New Citation 24SL owners

My husband and I are new to the RV world, having just purchased a 2015 Citation 24SL with a Sprinter. The pleather upholstery is shot (which I am told is common since it's pretty worthless material), and the floor is spongy (which I am also told is common, and we plan on fixing). We're not really crazy about the hide-a-bed tucked away in the love seat, or the L-shaped sofa for the dinette, so we are thinking about replacing the love seat with a small dinette, and replacing the sofa with a futon-style sleeper sofa.

We just took our first trip in it, from our home near Sacramento up to the Oregon Coast. I have to admit, having never driven a vehicle this large, and I was pretty intimidated about driving the thing. But I found it very easy to drive, and it handled the mountain pass climbs like a champ.

I'm looking forward to learning more from this forum.

Hi. I have the same model and am so disappointed with the fold out sleeper couch. Been an owner for two years. I am looking to replace the couch if I can find something. The cheap material is literally faking off. Already had a cushion recovered . Have you found a solution?

Hi Susanfowllover

I just sent you a pm regarding a couple of companies you can look at to replace that sleeper couch.
