Sold boat and bought "land yacht"

Purchased our first RV a 2017 Thor ACE 27.2. Making the adjustments from sea to land has been fun. Haven't taken any big trips yet. Several small ones to familiarize myself with the coach. So new don't even know what questions to ask yet. Glad to be onboard.

Did the same a few years back. The thing is you traded water for wheels. Pretty much the same issues after that. Be ready to make little patches and fixes as your new home vibrates down the road. Personally I love the fact that you are less likely to sink in a MH.

Welcome aboard!
(See: that phrase still works!)
I've heard it said that a boat is "a hole in the water; into which one throws money."

With motorhomes: they've just moved that hole to "the woods"!

Made the same life style change about 10 years ago after 10 years in a sail boat sailing the Bahamas every summer. My wife is much more comfortable being able to get out and walk away from it and when the wind comes up, she still says that she is so glad she is not on the boat and at anchor. Some of the same maintenance issues but it generally is easier to get parts and service. Hard to give up the boat, but I have grown to love the RVs.

Did the same thing last year. Transferred from water money pit to land money pit. Best wishes and happy times.
