Newbie probably

First-time buyer. I've been looking at RV"s for several weeks. Been to 9 different dealerships, and probably 20 different models. I'm pretty close to making an offer on a 2016 Thor Four Winds 26B with only 5200 miles. I've checked nada values, and it appears to be a good price.
I live in Sun City FL, in an HOA, so there are some restrictions as to length (28 feet max) that I need to comply with.
I'm going back tomorrow for a road test and with a 22 point checklist a relative provided me with

Comments, suggestions appreciated

If it has power mirrors, make sure they are wired correctly. LOL My driver side mirror went left for right and vice-versa.

Keep in mind..
Your 1st coach is a learning tool..
BUY USED! & buy one with everything you "think" you want and will need..
As You will make mistakes and have booboo's We all have.....(sometimes more than twice..)
Within a year or two you will discover..about the RV

What you love about the RV...
What you can kinda-sorta tolerate with the RV..
And what you absolutely hate about that !@#$%^%$#@! RV.
Then you can go get what you should have gotten in the first place..
Happy Hunting

Remember..Every day you put off retiring..is just one less Day of being retired

Welcome to the forum and good hunting. The 26B floor plan and our RS26 Quantum are about identical. It's pretty comfortable for a shorter coach.

Welcome. You didn't say where this possible "final" RV was located, but if you are considering buying from a Camping World I would be extremely careful. IMHO they are some of the worse dealers to work with, or at least their service departments are.

I don't know if he saw your warning, but he is looking at CW of Tampa in Dover:

https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/201...26B-5002235598

IMHO that price is about $10k too high. When we bought our ACE last year about this time that CW had it "on sale" for $65K. We had it transferred to our local CW here in north Florida and got it for several thousand less that that. it is a 2016 and only had 2300 miles on it.
