New to Forum

Bob and Jeanie Johnson here.
We are in Northwest Florida
Between Pensacola and Destin Florida
Purchased a 2018 Vegas 24.5
By Thor

Would like input and have discussion on replacing the Driver and Passenger front seats. The existing seats are the worst.

Would also like info about improving the driving, handling of the unit.
Am I in the correct area of the Forum for the topic?
Thanks for all help
Bob Johnson

Welcome to the forum! There has been much discussion of the questions you are asking. Try the search feature, you will be entertained for hours!

Your Vegas is built on a stripped E-450 chassis. Any reference to CHF, cheap handling fix, will not apply. Your handling question prompts the question to you, how much do you want to spend?

The short answer to handling starts with proper inflation (see the sticker by the driver's seat, and the next thing is alignment by a shop equipped for trucks.

We found that the cheap mesh lumbar support helped make the seats bearable. They are about $9 on Amzn. Some have replaced the seats with power units from sites like www.shop4seats.com

You thought you bought a complete unit, but really it's just a kit! Waiting for you to make it right for you!

Enjoy the journey!

Welcome to the forum. As you go along you will have questions. Feel free to ask them and someone in the forum will have an answer or can point you in the right direction. When you start talking about changing the front seats, be prepared for a possible high price. Some have used Shop4Seats.com. There are other companies out there that offer seats. Shop4seats has an facility in La Habra California.

Welcome to the forum. Fortunately I haven't had to change anything so I can't help with any answers.
