Thumbs up New forum member

Traveling in a 2014 Thor Ace 30.1, new to motor home after several pull behinds.
Wife and I along with our dog Gus are doing shakedown trips getting ready for a big trip from Florida to Colorado next month. Looking for more information on my unit, and to solve some problems.

Freshwater fill continues to flow back even though gauge says it is empty. Auto leveling not operating properly. H/W heater showing orange flame instead of blue and sooting outside of coach.
Any ideas or thoughts?

Gus...regarding water fill, I had same issue. The hose that runs from the outside fill port to the tank dropped below the entry point into the tank. Water was standing in the hose...enough to cause water to push back as I filled. Hold the hose tightly against the outside fill port and force the water through. Once it starts flowing it will fill OK but you will need to modify the fill line soon. There is a sleeve on the gas line very near the appliance you can adjust that will change the fuel/air mixture. I personally would drive by an RV shop and ask someone to look at it for me. Could be a number of things.
