Bob's right. You crossed some wires somewhere. just read another post where the factory used a red wire for negative and another where they wrapped red tape on a black wire to signify 'hot'. Guess what happened when the tape fell off and the person went to hook the wires back up.

Someone suggested taking a before pic so everything goes back whence it came. I do this religiously and now have a picture library on my hard drive of everything I've ever touched or getting ready to.

This, and USE/STORE always returns to center position. It's a momentary contact to each end to actually move the relay.
