ACE floorplans

Hi All,

My name is Sue and I am looking at purchasing an ACE. I originally like the 29.4 until I found it did not have the mudroom. Then, as usual, all floorplans have something the others don't and you start wondering what is most important or what can I live without.

I like the idea of a king bed and the reason I chose the 29.4. But now, I think I coud live with a queen and get more storage and the mudroom....this is where the problem is for me...I am moving into an RV from a travel trailer.

I'm curious what ACE floorplan people have, the reason they chose their unit and what the pros and cons are after you've made a few trips.

Thanks for your time and feedback. This forum is great!
Sue

We purchased a 2017 Ace 27.2 this summer. It was a tough choice Camping World had all the models lined up, was really helpful going in and out of them all at the same time. Process of elimination for us, ours has the king bed and mud room. The mud room was important for us because we wanted to use the space for the cat litter box Which by the way, is Great!

We are very happy with our choice and glad we ended up with the shorter one.

If you have given any thought to a class C we have the Chateau 31W also available as a Four Winds, we have the mud room that also has access from the outside and it works great for the litter box. You can slide the door closed inside and clean the box from the outside without the cats helping. We looked at both and went with the class c, I also like when you stop at places you can just open the door and get out without having to climb through the coach. layouts and prices were both about the same.
