Greetings to all. Just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for an informative and relevant forum. I read through many of yours posts and it allowed me to bring good information to bear when negotiating the price for the 2017 Thor Compass I just purchased. Going to be heading out to Gila National Forst for the Memorial Day weekend for her maiden voyage. I wish you all a safe and pleasant Memorial Day, and I will be leaning on many of this communities knowledge as I encounter hiccups along my RV journey. Thank you all in advance!

Congrats on the new home. It's interesting, with all the issues people post here, that you still purchase a Thor product instead of burning the plant down. I did the same thing and love the coach. I think they build as good a camper as anyone, if not better. You have the right mindset and there's so many people and so much knowledge here, riding along with you. It's heart-warming to see someone post a "near-emergency" situation on this site and within minutes someone stops in their tracks, answers their post and sticks with them to eventually resolve it! Knowledge is Power!! Lots of "nuts" out for the first time this year, this weekend. Stay safe!!

Yeah, it seemed after a lot of reading every brand has their issues. So I went for a balance or cosmetic relatively self correcting problems, affordability and never having owned one before something too big means a learning curve in driving and problem management. This one is small enough to cover what I need and seems like a lot of the issues are initially cosmetic and may have been addressed with the previous owner but I will surely know soon enough hahah.

I have a2017 29.3 ace very happy with it it’s a house on wheels no matter what make u will always have some issues if u are handy and with all the advice from this forum you’ll get through it u can get an answer to any problem ENJOY !!!!
