Just picked up my 2018 Compass 23 TB and so far very pleased. Had two Roadtreks before and just wanted a bit more space. The only thing I can see when putting it away for the winter as I live in Canada is disconnecting the battery it looks a little challenging.

Welcome to the forum!

It's not hard to install battery disconnect switches on both the chassis and the coach batteries. Be sure you totally winterize the coach. One winter I missed draining the water heater, yup, had to replace the tank in the spring!

The one I missed was the ice maker waterline.

Thanks for the Welcome

I have read that I can add a trickle charger to posts under the hood, has anyone had experience doing this and seems it would be easier than removing the battery which I have always done in my previous Roadtreks. I have also read in an older Thor manual that you can pump directly from the anti freeze jug using the water pump and hooking a hose to the water intake, any comments on this, I usually use an antifreeze manual pump and blow the lines with a bicycle pump before adding the antifreeze
