Hello all, new 17 outlaw 29H, on initial overnight to learn and get out the kinks. Very impressed with vehicle, takes a once thru the manuals, but very helpful as well as this forum. Here is an initial question for 29H owners. The screen between the garage and deck/ramp does not attach to the insides of the vehicle to close it off from bugs. The screen has rings built into it, like the ones it hangs from. How did some of you attach to the inside of the garage walls? Thanks in advance

Congratulations on a wise choice!
(Another 29H owner here... )
We haven't gotten around to that question yet. When you find a good answer; please post it in here!

By the way: what are you hauling in the garage?

My motorcycle and 4 Wheeler once in a while. I have yet to haul the bike, recovering from recent total knee replacement.

Hi... I’m a 2017 29h Outlaw owner too. My rig has snaps along the inside of the frame & the sides of the screens have matching snaps too. You say yours has “rings”? I don’t know what other 29h owners have on the frame around the tailgate but this is also what was on other new 29h’s we looked at on the dealer’s lot.

I’ll send pics of my screen too. Right now it’s @ the RV repair shop. The tailgate springs are being upgraded with heavier springs to make it easier to raise & lower the ramp.
FYI: I was told by a dealer that for 2018 Thor made upgraded tailgate springs standard issue. Maybe tailgate wasn’t issue for you but I had a horse trailer whose ramp was easier to raise & lower.

2017 Outlaw 29h bug screen

OK. Just went out and checked my bug screen and...yup it’s attached on the inside of the frame of the ramp with screws through what I think you are calling “rings”. While it looks like the screws can certainly be removed...the bug screen is most definitely attached in a secure manner on both sides.

It is... but we've added Velcro to the center of it, in order to close it off more "securely"...

ID:	7236 Lets try this again, new to this: The rings at the sides of the bug screen dont attach to anything rendering the bug screen useless?

Not snaps. They put a screw through the “rings” on both sides. Bob above comment #14 says his bug screen is attached same as mine.
