Hi All!

I currently own a 2016 Forest River Wildcat 5th Wheel. We are wanting to upgrade to a motorhome.

We are looking at the Thor Magnitude/Omni BB35 Super C. It checks all of our boxes as far as wants. Bunk Beds, Outdoor Kitchen and Super C.

I've found some good deals online and was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on buying one 1,000 miles away from home.

Any issues finding a local dealership that will service them?

Thanks in advance!
Daniel

Welcome to our campfire.
I always figured that service after the sale should count for something... But that's just me!
Happy shopping.

MHSRV is 269 road miles away. Four each - 2020 BB35-$149,000 2 2021 BB35 on order - $163,000. Any RV repair place can do warranty work on Thor MC. Thor MC just has to approve it BEFORE they do any work. I bought my coach in TX and had a JayCo dealer (Mayfield, KY) close by do the the two warranty items (patio awning lights and water heater). In San Antonio, all my RV repair and heavy maintenance is handled by Wagner RV which is not a RV dealer of any sort.

MHSRV sold that all the 2020s that were listed for $149k unfortunately. They quoted me $156,999 for a 2021.

I have a quote for $142,695 for a 2020 from a dealer in AZ.

DeMontrond in Houston has a 2020 for $151,900 (I can get them a little lower)

Why not try showing the local dealer that quote from Arizona, and see if they'll match it?
It could save you a lot of travelling...

I travelled to AZ to pick up my motorhome, I was very satisfied with the deal. I set an appointment time and date. The salesman picked me up at the airport. I talked to them a few days prior and told them I was flying in and requested they do a thorough inspection a couple days before my arrival. They had fixed a couple things before I arrived and my inspection went well. Go for it!
