Good Morning all,


I just joined the Group, having traded in a 1999 35' Gulfstream for what I think will be more manageable size, a 2015 Windsport 27'.
The Gulfstream had started to have too many issues, so it was time.


We're retired and would like to hit the road more often, hopefully the smaller size will allow us to get into the State Parks (California is home). We lived in LA for all our working life, moved to the southernmost end of the Sierras at 4000' in 2010, so we get the 4 seasons here. We were actually snowed in on Thanksgiving, having the luck that we had the bird here and the Daughters had the Veggies and the roads were closed to them. We had the whole thing to ourselves, sharing with the Neighbors who trudged through the snow to eat free Turkey!

Welcome aboard from a fellow former Gulfstream owner! In our case we moved up from a 22' B Touring Cruiser to a 27.2 ACE. That extra size took some getting used to driving. Lots of well informed folks on here to learn from! Enjoy the journey. Mark
