New Miramar 35.2

After a 6 month wait, we picked up or new coach the other day. Traded the '16 ACE29.2 for this one as it gives SO much more floor space for us and the 3 Border Collies!!
We took 2 appointments for the PDI(Thanx Ed F!!) which was 3 hours and closed 2 days later to trade, etc. General RV in Huntley was quite good to work with, and we never felt rushed to accept the unit. It drives Wonderfully, and we can't wait to get out in it!! We'll do a one niter this weekend, tho it is already winterized we can still get a good feel for things. I'm questioning how to treat the basement storage at this time..
Yes, it sux to pick it up after losing the season, but we've So Much to look forward to!! We'll keepya posted as we go along, and hope to share fotos soon.
Michael, Deidre
Los Tres Tornados...Jackie Carson, and Theo

well...our one night "shakedown" didn't get past the front of the house!! Had to hit the furnace reset with help of General RV tech person. Then....we noticed no power to the micro or induction cooktop. After more troubleshooting, we were a bit "wiped out" from the day by 2PM(after being in the coach since 9AM) when we decided just to stay Home. All systems seemed fine, but didn't feel like driving up to a Wisc campground. In fact, we drove it back to storage...ha!!
At least our issues were at our house, and we weren't at a campsite with no way to cook, or even heat. Phew! Glad it worked out and we lit the fireplace, cooked the dinner we would have had, and enjoyed the night at Home!!
We'll try again this coming Sat. Hopefully we'll have a fun time and get a chance to bond with our new MH!! Ahh, the joys of a new motorHome!! It'll be GREAT!!!

Sorry to hear that it didn't go quite as you had planned...
But it is going to get better: LOTS better!

I think I would have driven it back to the dealer...not storage. Not a judgement, just wondering, something missed or user error..?

Actually, we closed a few daze after the 3 hour PDI...don't wrack your brain as to why! Stuff happens!! Not worth the effort at this point.I dunno, but it seems OK now. I'm "trying" be a better "go with the flow" kinda guy!! I was friggin' frazzled for a while!! Still lookin' forward to the next(1st) time out in the Effing Bus. Yes, we're keeping the name.
thanx for your concern, Sir!!
Michael

You're gonna give the poor thing a complex, if you keep calling it that... :

But I can sure understand how it got that name!
