Welcome to the Forum, I see you are going to Trap pond in DE. We have camped there many many times, great place, try to get into D or C section, less noise and not many kids. Plenty to do They have bicycles you can rent for the trails through the woods one is 3 miles the other is 5 miles. Also have canoe, kayak boats for rent, a nice nature center and plenty of fishing.
Not to far from Assateague is a camp ground called Tall Pines about thirty 30 from Assateague, another nice camp ground. We call it the Law Enforcement Camp Ground because most people are LE or retired LE. Enjoy great places.
