New Owners!
Hello! My wife Carol and I bought our first motor-home last week. We got the 2021 Freedom Elite 26HE and from all we see we are going to love it. We have not quite retired yet and both have one or two years to go, but with COVID and full time telework, decided we could telework as well from a park as at our home in VA. First short trip is this weekend for two nights locally in a RV park, then next week to one 60 miles away, then out West to see family in WY.
It looks like there is a huge wealth of info available here, and we have already posted a question or two. Likely there will be more!
Can't way to hit the road with our Springer Spaniel Daisy!

Our first RV was a FE 26HE and we didn’t have a bit of trouble with it, we traded it for a class A because we loved it so much and wanted a bigger machine for more extensive travel. Hope you enjoy every mile and every night on the road.

Nice coach guys. Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I am a transplant from VA since 1976. I used to work the Northern Virginia area from the Fairfax office of VEPCO (now Dominion Power?). There was a lot of nice farm land back in those days!

Congrats and welcome to the great world of RV`ing. Just remember that the journey is the destination and enjoy what is around you. It is required to watch the movie ` RV` with Robin Williams at least 3 times !!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, first weekend is under our belt and it was AWESOME! Loved every minute of it and learned tons. Can't wait for next weekend's trip out toward Winchester. Daisy was a trooper and enjoyed it as much as we did!

We just bought a 2013 Challenger and have our 2nd excursion coming up. We love it! Our mini Schnauzer likes it too I think. Happy trails to you and early congrats on retiring. I did that a few months ago and I love it.
