New Palazzo Owner

Hello All,

Just took delivery of a 2021 Palazzo 33.6 a couple weeks ago. Took it out for its first voyage. Did a 1200 mile round trip and its back at the dealer getting some new kinks worked out.

Look forward to checking out the site, looking at others inputs and interacting with the forum on discussions and in sight.

Later -
CDA

Thanks

Not my first RV - grew up with them. Had a 2016 Georgetown and a few tow behinds and fifth wheel toy-haulers.

Congrats.....BTW....are any of those kinks having to do with up or down shifting using the up / down arrows on the Trans touchpad? Assuming you have an Allison 2100 MH transmission???

No issues with the Allison 2100 MH transmission so far. My first trip was a 1200 mile loop and had big up and down grades, pull my 4dr jeep. Trans shifted well as I used the auto feature and manual to see how they worked. Manual was great going down hill along with the engine braking system. Going up was good to be able to hold a gear longer. On the trip home I was in 60+mph winds from all sides for 9 hours. RV would shift back and forth between 6th and 5th as I would expect keeping me cruising at 65mph.

Hope that helps...

So, that tells me, mine is not working properly, since I cannot use the up or down arrows to make the trans shift into higher or lower gears.

Thanks for the response and hope you enjoy your new toy!

Yeah for the first time taking it out and my first diesel (owned a diesel truck pulling a 42' 5th toy-hauler) RV, I was impressed. Just need to get the new kinks out and fixed and get back out on the road. I have some time before the next one, so I want it fixed right.

That's awesome! One reason we bought the 33.6 if future long stays in it when we hang up the work shoes. I will have to check out the FB page. thanks for the info

Yeah we liked the Georgetown, but for what we were doing it was not going to workout. We still hit the desert for races and some of the areas are not the best, but we will adjust when taking this one out.

2021 Palazzo 33.6

We just got our 2021 Palazzo 33.6 two weeks ago as well! Love it so far but.... we are having to have a new driveway added to our property as our current driveway is just too steep for it to make it up. After trying to use the special ramps we had made just for this reason, we ended up having to drive across our neighbor's yard (with their permission of course) to get to our RV garage and haven't been able to take it out at all. Using our neighbor's yard as a "roadway" is not a long-term solution as you can imagine. (We left some ruts that we had a landscaper repair.) Now, we just found out that in order to add the new driveway, we have to move the gas line from that area first. The costs just keep adding up, but we have a brand new RV garage with all the bells and whistles, so storing off-site instead just doesn't really appeal to us. And yes... it's our first motorhome so the lessons are being learned quickly. We sure hope to be able to use it soon!

Welcome subrid502 to the forum. Enjoy the new rig. Things will smooth out once the logistics are taken care of at your property.
