I know you have a right to your opinion and have obviously had some issues with Thor and/or a dealer buy I feel I must state that MY EXPERIENCE was a good one despite the issues. Yes, there were some plumbing issues that we correct at the time the unit was built. The issue was that my dealer discovered that the issue developed due to the constant retraction/extension of the slide. Because my dealership had already discovered this issue on other vehicles and came up with a fix that they have shared with Thor. Thor was so impressed with the fix/solution that they will now begin using them on their new vehicles and are sharing the info with other dealers who may find this issue as well t let them know how to fix. No matter what brand of RV, Car/Truck or other thing, there will always be issues with problems of one sort or the other. Everyone needs to have confidence with their dealership and that they will "make right" any issues or problems that arise. I purchased my first motorized Class C RV from this dealer over 11 years ago and was the main reason I came back when I wanted to upgrade to a Class A.

Well said. Not all of us here think these things are a piece of junk. It would be nice if the factories took the time to assemble them like someone might restore a classic car. But that is not a reasonable expectation. And I agree things have a lot of room for improvement.

My dad had some motorhomes in the past that were nothing but trouble and mechanical failures. And he had some that were great. Our Hurricane is our 5th RV (2nd motorhome), and while not always a simply carefree ride over the years, we certainly have not experienced some of the horror stories I read here. I feel for these folks having such a bad time. Our rigs and dealer have been great.

Like ANY RV you may get a great one or one that needs some TLC? Either way, the Hurricane or the WindSport are great coaches. Would never sell mine!!! We have a Windsport 29m and it's perfect for my wife and me; Bob & Wendy Trice

While I appreciate every person's comments I really don't understand your remarks about my post. I purchased my RV in April 2019 and after the few things I mentioned were fixed, I have not had ONE ADDITIONAL thing break or go wrong with this RV. Every new car, truck, RV will have some issues that need tweaking or fixing because most if not all are assembled to some extent by automation. This is the second RV I have purchased from this dealership and I have no qualms buying another one from them in the future. The REASON WHY is that no matter what is wrong or needs tweaking, they are willing to fix it to my satisfaction. If you are lucky enough to have ever purchased a new car, truck or RV that was 100% issue free then I think that you are very lucky because that is not the norm and I do not understand your comment on me being part of the problem because I understand how items are made.

I agree with you. It would be nice if everything that is purchased brand new is 100% free of any issues but that is not what happens in this day and age. There are going to be robotic or human errors in all assembly lines and as I have stated before, any brand and any model can have issues. Where you need to make sure is that you buy from a dealer you have confidence in. This was my second RV purchase from them and I knew going in that they would take care of any and all issues. While I wish there weren't any issues found, I was grateful that the DEALER found and fixed these prior to me taking full possession. If they had ignored those issues and let me drive off to find them on my own then I may have posted another view but again, that is the difference between a dealer and a great dealer. I stand behind my love of my Thor Hurricane Windsport 29M which I have now had for almost a year with no more issues. Can't wait for more camping trips!
